I've been playing BF2 with no problems for 6 months. Tried playing it the other night and first it loaded up then said "invalid passkey - already in use" . So i exited it to try again.
I didnt change anything and all it does is open Battlefield 2 box for 3 seconds before crashing back to desktop.
It's running in processes at 99%.
To date I have uninstalled it and reinstalled, followed EA help guidelines, closing certain processes and disk clean up but it still doesn't work.
The disc is showing in the drive and opens up options but I can't even play singleplayer.

Has someone knicked my passcode so it wont work altogether or is it my computer. I don't get why it worked fine then suddenly stops when nothing on my computer has changed and it is all up to date!

Tried any other games?  sounds like you could have problems with your hardware had similar effects when my graphic card was burnt.

I'd say someone's hijacked your key. If you paid for the game, and can prove it, EA should send you a new one.

I'm gonna try another BF2 game tonight (brand new) and see whether it likes that one. If it doesn't then its gotta be my computer.
