Moose - you're half right in your "Origin of Religion."  Organized religion was probably created as a means of:

1) Uniting people (sometimes to just go kill other people)
2) Controlling people
3) Promoting health and hygene - seriously!  The reason for most of the Kosher laws is because of the lack of refrigeration & sanitization in the anchent world.

Unfortunatly religion has been abused for many years by the power hunrgy, mad and depraved (Put your mouth on THIS my young lad to save your immortal soul!).

So, don't generalize, please,  about religion or folks who have beliefs.  As with any community you have you good ol' normal people and the nutcases.  The news loves the nutcases.

Don't take me wrong, I respect everyone's opinion on the issue of religion and faith, but for the love of God, Allah or Budha (and some others I might have forgotten) don't annoy me with it when playing my favorite game.

It's war, and you should be allowed to say anything. There are dozens of movies of US soldiers screaming goddamn, and I thinnk that g*dd*mn (server safe version_tm) is on of the most used words in america.
Man, I don't even spell goddamn with a capital G so im not refering to the "Almighty One".

The line "The bible, and christianity are a big hoax invented by a roman empire." will get you a ban most certainly! But it is worth seeing the reactions of the fanatical/extremist religionists.

The most funny part of these Christian servers is, that when I play MEC, I run arround and scream "Allah Akbar" (means: Allah is Great) pisses them off so much, you almost feel sorry for them.

first off, i am an anti christian-mythologist. they are my sworn enemy, period.

i noticed the christian-mythologist server, and decided to go in there. i wasn't going to say a bunch of crap at all. but i definitely was going to abuse crap as much as i could within the accepted bounds. i was a claymore tossing FREAK. i put them in the lamest places i could. SHAMELESS. i didn't feel bad about it at all. in fact, it was great to finally virtually kill an actual enemy that i truly wanted to blow up. it was SWEET. that must be what gung-ho meathead knee-jerk 'patriotic' americans feel like when they shoot the insurgents. i would've normally shyed away from spamming claymores like that (unless it is a payback), but it was a lot of fun to do it in this instance. i think i may go back. i absolutely dominated my team in scoring. i had something like 76 points in one game, while the next best was around 44, i think. that was typical of the few games i played. no one said a goddam word, either.

That's the difference between YOU & ME I don't go to where ever you play and purposely disrespect you and your rules.

The real difference  is alot of you have no respect for anything, or anyone, and you hide behind the veil of the internet and talk trash to people in the saftey of your mom & dads home. What great men you'll grow up to be!
