I've read this somewhere. I think you need to install the patch for for the game, then save the executable file for that version somewhere and rename it...Then install a new patch and save that BF2 executable file as something else. Clickin on either one starts up that version.

From what Ive read before your gonna have to install the game twice in different locations.
Patch one install to 1.41 one to what ever you want.

I tried just backing up the original mod folder, then swapping them...but it didn't seem to work.

1. uninstall
2. reinstall
3. copy C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 and paste it into the folder thus making Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2 Copy
4. patch to the "older" patch you want it will install to the Battlefield 2 folder.
5. then rename the Battlefield 2 folders to match it (ie; Battlefield 2 1.03)
6. rename Battlefield 2 Copy to Battlefield 2
7. run patch 1.41 witch will patch the Battlefield 2 Folder/Install Ex/Booster then Patch again.
8. rename Battlefield 2 folder to Battlefield 1.41

This giving you Battlefield 2 1.03 and Battlefield 2 1.41 in that folder ( ie: http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/4175 … kkkjz0.jpg )

do steps 3-4-5 more then once if you want more then 2 versions, remember you can only go forward in patches not backwords aka 1.0 -> 1.03 GOOD, 1.3 - > 1.03 BAD
