watch vidoes of the Su-37
AMAZING!. It pretty much is the same thing.

As for Pugachev's Cobra(its actually 1:29 on the video), it is a manuever with many possibilities in combat, expecially when pilots are on a guy's tail. To do it, the pulto must disabelt the alpha(angle of attack) limiters on his aircraft and control throttle and the stick very well, so he can turn the AOA to 100 degrees or so, depending on aircraft. This shows Sukhoi's skills in designing engine inlets that work at such high AOA. Mostly performed at airshows, this manuever can also be executed in a dogfight to raidly decelerate, causing your opponent to fly past you, giving you a shot.
It is rumored that all thrust vectoring planes can perform this, but the ones that have are the Su-27, F/A-22, Su-37, F/A-18, MiG-29, and Su-30.
russian fighters, built for agility, are knoen to perform this move at airshows.

Now, just to try it in BF2, ill post a vid if it works.
