I don't know much about this, but from what I've read Kosovo does not deserve to be it's own independent nation, but if it doesn't become one wouldn't that just cause more violence?

I don't see how it caused Europe BIG problems. The US intervention came after Serbia vs Slovenia, Serbia vs Croatia, Serbia vs Bosnia, so the region was already pretty fucked up including Serbia that was financially on its knees. But there was still no change of power in Serbia. The "Clintons war" helped in bringing down the regime.iphtnax wrote:

Its was a much needed wake up call to a society that fully and blindly supported war and genocide.
