However, I haven't SEEN the Blue Angels, and thus I can't really compare it. The red arrows are truly awesome, though. Low-level fwooshing, and the last time I saw them they were doing a huge display over the fleet review thingy a few years back. So worth walking a few miles to catch it.
I think we are on the same page. I heard a Red Arrow guy talking in the 1980s, he said some of the evasion manuvers they must learn are so scary almost everyone craps their pants the first time they try it. Weeds out the weak very fast. Anyone who flies or has flown a High speed millatary jet is a very special person. Did you read "The Right Stuff" by Tom Wolfe ?.Skorpy-chan wrote:

I tend to disagree with your last statement. However, I do respect the Red Arrows and their flare. When you look at the degree of tight flying between the Angels and Arrows, the manuvers involved, and the overall "world recognition" as you call it, I believe that the Blue Angels edge out the Arrows in a Team Capacity.
