Well, the first one's an F-100 Super-saber. Possibly a trainer variant, due to the dual canopies.

The last one, a DeHavilland Vampire.

Don't feel bad the F 117 Nighthawk was in service for 8 years and very few people outside of the operational squadrons knew. The Military needs to keep its information, secretes and sources close. This applies to our current situation as well.

And the Red Arrows are combat ready in the Hawk trainers. They fly the upgraded model with a pair of Sidewinder rails.

However, I haven't SEEN the Blue Angels, and thus I can't really compare it. The red arrows are truly awesome, though. Low-level fwooshing, and the last time I saw them they were doing a huge display over the fleet review thingy a few years back. So worth walking a few miles to catch it.

I think we are on the same page. I heard a Red Arrow guy talking in the 1980s, he said some of the evasion manuvers they must learn are so scary almost everyone craps their pants the first time they try it. Weeds out the weak very fast. Anyone who flies or has flown a High speed millatary jet is a very special person. Did you read "The Right Stuff" by Tom Wolfe ?.

I am just arguing this because the red arrows are known for being the best out of all nations.

I tend to disagree with your last statement.  However, I do respect the Red Arrows and their flare.   When you look at the degree of tight flying between the Angels and Arrows, the manuvers involved, and the overall "world recognition" as you call it, I believe that the Blue Angels edge out the Arrows in a Team Capacity.

I'll be posting some video I took as well as more pictures of the Blue angels. At some points the hornets are less than 18 inches apart.
