Nobody forces anyone to commit suicide over the internet. If he was serious, he'd probably have done it anyway. Where's everyone saying "fuck the father?" Why all this "fuck the chat users?"

Depression, serious business.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

It's more than just a psychological illness. It royally fucks your body.
The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

Actually, it isn't more than just a psychological illness, it's just that psychological illnesses are nasty.
i saw a similar thing on a forum like a year ago, a depressed guy said that he was going to kill himself and several people urged him to do so, sure, he may just've been kidding but two sick fucks were trying their hardest to make him do it. i joined myself to try to talk him out of it but i dunno if he did it or not
A member of my clan committed suicide last year and it hit all of us very hard. Anyone who would encourage someone towards suicide, even if the person is already considering it, should be severely beaten. Period.
Very sad story indeed. Sorry for the kids. It's unfortunate that some people out there get such a pleasure in harassing and giving shit to others for their own shortcomings. This is just another case that shows how powerful words can be. Shitting on somebody that's already in the dumps is just wrong. It would be nice if those who typed their words of aggression had their fingers broken in a few places. It would give them some time to think before they type more shit.
That is sick and sad and... argh.
I feel really sorry for the kids.

The thing about restocking the fridge hints he was already going to do it.No matter what they said.
He restocked the fridge with beer apart from the Wednesday he killed himself.
I think he wanted people to see him do it,maybe.
Still,they're pricks for encouraging him.

You can usually get a guy to stop from killing himself if he hasn't already done so... Even if he does something that clearly points towards his wanting to commit suicide, you can usually convince him not to... >.>

Perhaps, but it's probably alot harder to do over the internet.Konfusion0 wrote:

You can't really express tone and emotion over the internet.
What a tragedy. I hope the people who urged him on are unable to live with themselves.Konfusion0 wrote:

I'm shocked konfusion, that you don't consider yourself better than this poor soul, and his suicide a gift to people with no problems in their lives.
8 cans of Boddingtons a night...
Just another sad case of lots of missed signs, his problems were far deeper than a few arseholes in a chat room, so it's not really fair to condemn them. The guys encouraging him are probably just a mentally ill to be in a flame room anyway.

Haha, nice. Read what I posted. I have my reasons for saying what I did in that thread, but try to keep it there. I don't appreciate personal attacks, and I'm sure no one else on this forum does either.mKmalfunction wrote:

@jord: If he had a webcam, wouldn't he have a microphone too?

it is a sad story.. but really and truly bottom of the barrel.. was he really contributing to to life in any great form? just another selfish prick who worried more about his own problems then how it would effect his 12 year old daughters.. anyone that kills themselves does so out of confusion and for selfish reason.. good ridance to another useless human
That story is seriously depressing

Why don't you go kill yourself then!-=]NS[=-Eagle wrote:

What's the deal here? Someone killed themself? That happens all the time. Maybe it's that people have webcams? I doubt it, there's nothing wrong with having a webcam so far as I know.jessefer wrote:

now do you guys see what your doin......
Maybe it's that someone threatened to kill himself and someone said "okay, go do it and make sure your webcam is on"? Well, in an "insults chat room" people aren't there to say "no, don't, tell us what's wrong and let's see if we can make it better". People go there to throw insults around. If the guy wanted help, he'd have called the Samaritans or something.
You can't blame people in the chat room for insulting the guy or "egging him on" because he would have gone to that chat room for exactly those reasons.
And you're so much more useful with your god-like knowledge of how a mental illness affects judgment. It doesn't take a PhD to know what these illnesses can do to you...SuperSlowYo wrote:

Darwin at work saving us from the weak minded. This was a full grown adult that unfortunately procreated. The guy wasn't all with it, and at least he didn't hurt anyone else this way.
Now if we can just direct all the druggies, welfare moms, terrorists, and gangsters to that same chat room since it has been deemed so dangerous/deadly.
Must be a slow newsday.
