You neighbor has shot at you before and has killed many of the people around you. You have asked the police to do something about it in the past, but they have not done anything. You believe you have met their demands in the past but every time you do so he has killed more people around you to your frustration. Now your neighbor has two of your family members held hostage and is making more demands. In the meantime, another neighbor kills your dog because you have not met the demands of the other neighbor. You can't go to the police because they have proven they will not do anything. You have a decision to make.

And you're decision is?
You will note that I did not include any additional information or any other items of revelance, because they are not important to the decision. Yes. Anything more than that and you're breaking the law yourself and descending to their level. I'd phone the police, let them know there are people in my house and tell them I want them gone now. No one forced him to leave. So his new job didn't work out, that's a shame but it's not my problem or my fault. All that matters to me is my house has been taken from me and my family.
