That's what filezilla does too. Filezilla is the best and no "trial" there, but freeware, opensource! You can even download the filezilla server software to run your own ftp server on your pc! ^ ^
CuteFTP is the best, but it's not free. The only bad thing about CuteFTP is you can't CHMOD (or at least it doesn't work for me) but other than that, it's the best IMO.
Smart FTP and Core FTP are good free ones.

I never understood some peoples preference for FlashFXP, at one point in its development it was messing up peoples machines if they happened to be using a cracked version. Filezilla does more than FlashFXP yet is free.
Some people are odd.

I can CHMOD, but the settings don't stay that way. Like if I CHMOD a file to 777, it doesn't stay 777...it stays default. I have to CHMOD with another FTP program....Kmarion wrote:
