Yeah i'd really like to know what aircraft was used. This was the rebel Tamil Tigers doing the attack, not the official air force.
I mean rebels performing an aerial attack?! Obviously it would most likely not stand a chance against the Sri Lankan airforce but its still something to consider. I guess the Tamil Tigers are more than your rag tag group of rebels. Quite interesting how they managed to do this but i doubt they'll get another chance unless the rebels can amass high altitude bombers and deep strike aircraft.

There's a simple way of defending against this. Post guys with dual .50 mounts around the perimiter, and shoot down anything going on a bombing run.
