I don't agree with the war but I feel a little sorry for soldiers who sign up for a cause only to realise the reality of what the war is like and really all about. Having said that there is no conscription now like there was in Vietnam, I really had sympathy for guys who were made to go and fight in Vietnam and then on top of that had to return to abuse and a Country that would let them down badly.

I've already stated that I disagree with the actions of these anarchists but I must argue with you on this point. The US soldiers are not 'saving' the lives of any Americans by fighting in Iraq. As I mentioned, so that law enforcement can't easily single out just one of them for arrest. This way they all run the same risk as anyone else in the group.
