My favorite series used to be 24 but it's pretty shitty nowadays. Too gimmicky and predictable, too cliche.
I don't really watch much tv. For a while I was hooked on The Amazing Race as well, but even that got boring.
Arrested Development was extremely good, but I'm glad they took it off the air before it got watered-down.
Extras (on BBC) is fucking amazing!
Plus I recently downloaded the entire Batman Beyond cartoon series. I remember watching that a lot many years ago and I loved it.
So I guess those are all my favorite shows, sorry I can't narrow it down to one :-/

As you can see I'm not realy into serious drama stuff. I hear a lot of it is good, (Lost, Prison Break,) but I know that I'd miss an episode here or there and never be able to catch up on the plot. I don't care enough I guess. I get pissed off when I see a "To Be Continued..." 'cause I know I'll miss that next episode.

Red Dwarf (well, up till series 4), Mythbusters, Blackadder (all of 'em were funny), How It's Made, and i would add Cheaters too, but i only really dug the episode where the host got stabbed. "I'm bleeding, I'm BLEEDING" rofl. Oh, and Top Gear.

BTW. The episode that just aired was probably one of my all-time favorites. Classic Lost plot, I think the shows back where it belongs.

Deadwood, Sopranos, Ninja Warrior, Attack of the Show (Olivia Munn is BOMB like holy shit.), That 70's Show, Family Guy, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Beebop, Everything on the History Channel....and that's all I can think of.
I rarely take an opportunity to watch much new television, but I have been convinced to watch House and How I Met Your Mother, my two new favourites. Excellent television. As for programs available in syndication, Seinfeld and The Simpsons are amongst the finest, albeit the latter failed to give me any laughs following the ninth season.
