Imagine you have a trillion dollars, what would you do with that money?

I would keep a million to spend it in a few things (a couple of Porsches and Lambos), would put 999 million in a bank working for me, and the rest I would distribute this way:
-499 billion to my country.
-500 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative.

Other. A trillion dollars is too much to devote solely to any of these options. I'd donate 250 billion to research and development, 250 billion to charity (including 'scholarship sponsorship'...lol), 250 billion to help with national debt, and sit on my laurels with the rest.

help the starving in africa, then give about 300 ( ) billion to charity, buy a pagani zonda,bugatti veyron, and ferrari f150, aston martin vanquish, helicopter, jumbo jet, 2 houses. if i had that much money i wouldnt know what to do with it. maybe give another 200 bil. to charity

I'd throw a few billion at the Palestinians, a few billion at the Irish healthcare system, transport infrastructure and promotion of Gaeilge, a few million at my alma mater (Univeristy College Dublin) and spend the rest on researching green technologies to sort out the dire mess our planet is heading towards in terms of the loss of the ice caps. I'd buy out Ford and GM, wind them down, and sell them to responsible car manufacturers.

I'd also spend a few million on a house designed precisely to my architectural specifications and on a grand mausoleum for myself!

I didn't put an option for sorting that out coz that's a matter of politicians' will, the research is done, but the corporations are very greedy.

Ummm... I'd buy a few houses, in Switzerland and Whistler and a couple of other places. I think I'd donate a lot of it though to various charities working to find a cure for diseases, such as cancer, and also a lot towards green technologies. And I'd buy a couple of you guys a beer.
