They obviously both have their advantages, which did/do you prefer being and why?

If you are a kid...do you wanna stay a kid? Or are you looking forward to being an adult, and why?

I wish I could be a kid again. I hate being an adult. Not having to worry about anything definitely outweighs not being allowed to drive.

Mixed bag. It's nice being 15 because you generally don't have to do shit. On the other hand, being an adult I can do a lot more. Of course, being an adult I can also come to the sad realization that you really can't achieve anything you want if you put your mind to it.

Ahh a very good question. Well right now, im 15. If i could go another year untill im 16 so i can drive, then being able to stay 16 for ever would be nice. Because, i could get beer, sex, drugs, rock and roll as a 15 year old, but i could never drive. so ide say, stay 16 forever would be sweet. and by forever, i mean millions of years.

They both have their benefits. The innocence and allowed irresponsibility of being a child is always a plus. Not having to worry about paying the bills or getting a job, or insurance...things like that. I miss that.

...but now that I have a job, I'm able to afford things like a car or my own place, things that not only could I not afford as a child, but things that I wouldn't have even thought about.

My childhood sucked, and being an 'adult' means responsibility and work.
I wanna go back to being a teenager, when I could sleep all I wanted, play videogames, flirt with girls, listen to terrible music really loudly, and just set off cycling somewhere and rely on being able to get there.

Although now I can do the same things, only I'm better at them. Benefit of a full reboot of muscle mass, actually growing into myself, and years of practice and improving my reflexes.

Lets see. High school was a big brick building that locked me in with a few hundred slutty, hormone raged teeneage girls. That was good. But not nearly as good as having credit cards and nice stuff. When you are an adult you may have children and when you have children you finally, finally get to say...."because I said so". And nothing beats saying that.

absolutely the same here.

cherish your sophomore year in high school. its the last easy one you'll have.

when you hit junior year, suddenly everything matters.

you have near zero free time; you spend it all studying for tests, SATs, ACTs, and AP tests. it fucking sucks. i hate it.

the reason so many high school students get depression is because its the most stressful time in the average, normal person's life. ever.

to fully realize that your future depends entirely on this one single year is a lot of pressure.

one fuck up, regardless of how big, could mean everything. thats another truckload of stress there.
