Hello. I get my points with explosives. Certainly i try to get badges. I just get the points for new ranks and not for the unlocks, cuz i've got everything I want.

I like playing squad leader, helps the team to get organised and helps you to be more effective. It's also enjoyable working together, although it's even better if you get a squad who is willing to help you get your awards and visa versa.
With "points" you obviously mean "career points" - so get all the 500+ stuff.
Badges.
indeed. i am not sure who it was, but a while ago (when 2142 was just released i think) someone worked out that getting all the badges and ribbons would get you to brig gen without any other points whatsoever. So if you are trying to get unlocks or to get better rank, then badges are the way to go. However, if you are going for global rankings, awards are worthless because only global points count on the leaderboards.Doms wrote:

never asked for something like that, maybe i should because i need 55 team points for a ribbon (dont remember the name atm). but with a squad u get always alot more points. even if it isnt that good. every kill/revive/heal/resupply within the command range gives a squadleader point. not to forget that also the squadmembers get extra points for all their actions. i get always around ~150 career-points per round this way. easyer than working on badges and it helps alot to win ;-)Crestfallen wrote:

the sad thing is that many other squadleaders dont give orders. maybe someone should tell them thet everyone in the squad gets more points this way. my squads have mostly 50-100 extra points at the end of a round.
if i need points, i just make sure i kill more and die less. thats good enough for me. and a few awards will help.
