A couple of things really.
Firsty noticed now that even though i am ranked at 2nd leuitenant gold, the tabs on bf2142 show me as a lower rank.. is that a bug?

Secondly.. i am dont know where i am going worng but i am not getting my badges or ribbons as easily as
i thought.
I always appear to be on the crappiest team, or i suddnely get a "problem with your connection message"
and can finish a round, or th emap ends to early...

Is there some one of a higher rank, who can show me where i am going wrong and guide me.

Here are my stats

Not too sure about the bug you're running into.

Well, i don't mean to be too critical here, but I've never depended on my team to help with my badges. Unfortunately, it may just be an issue of improving as a player. I notice you have a couple basic badges that need getting. You really just need to play for that badge for that round. As much as it sucks, you pretty much have to do that in order to achieve a few of them. Connection problems can't be helped, so don't beat yourself up over that.

And a few badges and ribbons are really tough (Titan attack gold, anyone?). I guess just keep at it. If you need a hand, add me to your list: Heggs.

My first word of advice: Titan mode
You'll find that you'll get the majority of your badges and such from playing that mode.

Being on a crappy team is a death sentence. I advise either leaving and going to another server or attempt to switch sides. Because 2142 is much more teamwork/squad based if your team is playing like a bunch of morons you're going to suffer.

Yeah, it'll depend on the server and its players, really. If you have issues, change your environment. Play on a server with slightly fewer players, or perhaps more. It depends on how you play.

I tend to dominate on whatever server I play on, but once things get too heavy (more than 32 players), I don't do as well. Part of is due to my computer not handling it very well, but also because it means you have to move around more. It's not hard to adjust to these different environments, but you will need the rig to do it.

Also, try looking at where your problems are. Do you have issues aiming? Are you particularly ineffective against certain types of enemies? What gets you killed most often?

You could be having bad luck with the servers and teams. I tend to be thrown onto the crappier teams, but that's because most players group themselves together onto the winning team like jackasses. Once my team starts winning again, I notice the players that I was fighting against are on mine now...

So... you can do the same, I suppose. Whatever it takes to get you out of that rut. You should know yourself whether it's honorable or not.
