I have muslim friends and respect their religion. I just not believe in the same God as they do.
Yeah - you 'believe' that. The fact is that you're wrong, speaking from a purely rational and logical point of view.stef10 wrote:

Please, be a bit more accurate.CameronPoe wrote:

Errrrm. Do you believe the Christian and Jewish God is the same? You do realise that Christianity preached that Jews were 'evil' and that they 'killed Christ' and that they also state that Christianity is the 'one true faith'. Sounds remarkably similar to Islam, the way you're decribing it.stef10 wrote:
And why does it say in the quran that Muslims and Christians/Jews are enemies.
How can God support that these should be enemies when God shoul iyo be the head of both of these.
All three of the faiths try and out-do each other with their claim on being the one true faith, their beliefs all being in the one same deity but the religion being practiced, the way of life and the associated dogma being different.

The people you describe were not Christians. They were psyco people speaking about something their religion does not support.
The Christian bible and Torah are the same in many ways.
They preach the same god.
And that link I found showed that we do not have the same God.

Interesting, according to your link:
"Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.” 1 John 2:22-23 NIV
Apparently I am in fact the Anti-christ..... muahahahahahahaahahhaha

Allah is a placeholder name, for ONE-TRUE-GOD... in the Arabic tongue, language.
Yahweh is a placeholder name, for ONE-TRUE-GOD... in the Jewish tongue, language.
The Holy-Trinity is a placeholder conception, for ONE-TRUE-GOD... in the Christian tradition.
You do not possess any knowledge otherwise, and the only reason, you are talking & thinking in the manner you are right now, is due to proximity; and that is merely an acquired specific-"faith" (based upon proximity to it).

Right how many times do I have to explain this:stef10 wrote:

The Torah is essentially the Old Testament.
Some political activist called Jesus of Nazareth comes along and says - 'Hey! Jews! You're not following God in the correct way! Follow my teachings!'. The Old Testament is superseded by 'the Gospel'.
Another political activist called Mohammed comes along 600 years later and says - 'Hey! Jews and Christian! You're not following God in the correct way! Follow my teachings!'. The Old Testament and the Gospel are superseded by the Q'uran.
It's like a tree - the core trunk being the Abrahamic faith of Judaism, a big branch being Christianity and another being Islam.
It's not really that hard to understand is it?
The teachings of the Old Testament/Torah apply to both Christianity and Islam. As such it's the same God.
It's weird how you feel so comfortable with the Jewish 'god' and not the Muslim one.

And of course you had to use a name. Pathetic.
Cameron, I do know what stops the information from the link in reaching your head.
Just because a guy sells a product that looks like another product does not mean it was the same creator.

Your link is a lot of meaningless mindrot. Semantic arguments and childishness at best.stef10 wrote:

Maybe we should just say. I do not know shit and you do not know shit.
Maybe it would be better getting a professor in religion.
And hwo can you deny that God said that Muhammad was a fake.

I've said it once, I'll say it again...
There is no God, only Zuul
There is no God, only Zuul
Who is Zuul?
You are reacting in a goofy way. Can you stop and think just for a moment(?)... that link is meaningless garbage. It it is not proof of anything other than an opinion about HOW to practice "faith"; or how not to practice "faith" - in the supposed so-called ONE-TRUE-GOD. And that is based upon a different "faith" (the one you acquired based upon proximity to a tradition) a slightly different set of stories, rules, theology, etc.stef10 wrote:

What about turning that in the other way and lets say what you say is false.
We are at 50 50. We can not get any closer.

If there is a so-called ONE-TRUE-GOD, then it is one thing to consider how to practice "faith," it is another to make a leap of ignorance and say they are not worshiping the very same ONE-TRUE-GOD, by a name that merely reflects the language they speak.

During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveler came as a large, moving Torb. Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new form for him—that of a giant Sloar. Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day, I can tell you.

a) I don't believe in God.
b) All of the teachings you follow precede Mohammed's birth by at least 500 years and I'm fairly sure 'God' hasn't made any public statements on the matter in the recent past....
QED. Logic FTW!
