Everybody's talking about Hillary and Obama but if the elections were today Giuliani would win, according to Newsweek.  In this poll he's the only Republican Candidate who wins against the Dems.  I think he did great for NY, and he could be a good president.

I would not choose him, however, I have a feeling he will be representing the Republican party. I just dont think he has proven himself yet on a level worthy of president. Then again, who the fuck has in the last 50 years?

Not sure, I havent been to informed myself. If he does though I will not be impressed on a personal level. I would like to see our next president have strict border and immigration policies. I really dont care what they say about taxes because we always get fucked anyways. Also, instead of attacking Iraq perhaps we can infiltrate France instead.

I think I worded that wrong, he want to kind of taking a less aggressive stance then the UK. I personally dont like anyone infringing on my rights to own a firearm being a law abiding citizen.

I would concurr with that logic. It is a good medium for society. But I am going to have to get Bubbaloesque here and ask: A less than intelligent person will have his constitutional right to defend his person and his property taken away?

I wonder what presidental stances are going to be on the national ID.. That's just such a bad idea, also Giuliani Destroyed New York a once great city IMO. Before you flame me and say this and that, I was in the city last night at 11 oclock and the city that never sleeps was passed out.

However he did do a great job during 9/11.

Dude, as somone who went to NYC before he was mayor, and again after he'd been in office for a few years, I'll tell you. He cleaned that shithole up.

Where were you at 11 on a Monday night that was dead? I'm sure the village was hopping. That place never dies down.

Yeah as someone who lives across the river from there, and has seen the difference before, during, and after his mayorship I feel I'm pretty well gounded in saying it had a much better vibe before he was in office and now it's nothing but a huge tourist trap and has lost all of it's charm as a diverse city.

I haven't tracked Giuliani very often, but didn't he once say that he had no interest in a presidential ticket? If so, and he runs, would that make him a flip-flopper?

Well, let me ask you this:

Often, the "cool" parts of a city migrate from area to area. I grew up in St Louis, and as I lived there, the vibrant part of the city moved at least 3 times. Now, with the evolution of the new ballbark neighborhood, it's poised to move again. Is it possible that you're going to the same old places, and expecting them to never change?

He cleaned NY, the city is safer than before for sure.  He is more likely to fix the illegal alliens issue than Hillary.

You are actually correct "the cool part" of New York has migrated out of manhanten and into Brooklyn and I'm sure other places around there. It's being pushed out so that new york could have hello kitty stores, and chain restuants..
