Can see it clearly. I think this is a sign from God that the earth is passing between the moon and the sun.

The next solar eclipse takes place on March 19, 2007, while the next total solar eclipse will occur on August 1, 2008. Mark your calender.

Nice.  Obviously you can't look at it, (read that if you look at the solar eclipse for even a few seconds it can cause permanent retina damage) but when it becomes suddenly dark in the middle of the day, it's awesome.

I have a friend in Va, USA setting up for tonight with proper gear. I'll post what he sends me. His location isn't as ideal as Europe but hopefully he will have less cloud cover.

Sweet, I'm gunna try and see that tonight. Hopefully it isn't too cloudy.

Gunna set up my telescope and look at the moon and Saturn (hopefully)
Ah, just read that chart, I'll only be able to see the latter part of the eclipse

Not quite, mid eclipse was at  2321, just before 12 you will see the end (official 2358) but I prefer the look just befroe and after the official total phase so midnight should be a good time to look (if you like seing the moon in detail.... too late for seeing the eclipse as such)
