horrendous teamspeak choppiness and lag

ok, for some reason lately when im on teamspeak while playing a game teamspeak starts to lag and chop REALLY bad. it sounds like they're talking in slow motion through a fan to me :\ its only when i play high impact games like battlefield 2 and 2142

ive made no hardware or software changes that i know of, this just started happening on its own the other day... any ideas?

I have the same problem and since my buddies all use TS I'm pretty much fucked.
(Haven't found a solution yet)

Thinking of getting a decent sounds card but the TS should be very low strain so I doubt it's hardware related.

Friend had same problem, he fixed it with deleting everything in this map:

C:\ YOUR DOCUMENTS FOLDER (often found on C) \Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

Next time you start BF2 it will reload/create some stuff for your videocard but that's all.

well it seems it only does it while actualy playing a round... could it be some kind of conflict with the ingame voip?
