Uh, dummy, we've only been around for 250 or so years. Our continent is peaceful with itself (mostly), maybe not with other but we are friends with everyone on our continent (mostly)
Lots of countries on your continent are there?

Anyhow, in case people can't quite figure this out, Europe's past IS America's past to a large degree. Same ancestors therefore same history.

Yeah Yugoslavia (disbanded), there are still problems In former Yugoslavia (now Serbia). Muslims in Albania want Kosovo to be theirs, so they can spread Islam. Things are somewhat stable also in Bosnia there are a lot of Muslim problems there(Muslims where there ever since Ottoman Empire conquered one third of Europe or more) if you look at this map. before that it was Christianity, but still there are a lot of bursts of other religions mostly Muslims, Catholic and Orthodox). But yeah if you look at the map you will see how far ottoman Empire got into Europe.
