I'm going to Australia tomorrow for a couple weeks.

I'm wondering what kind of power outlets you have down there.  are they euopean ones or north american ones?

What do you guys think is something that i "should" see when i'm there?

I'm going to be all up and down the east coast, my wife and i are renting an RV instead of sitting in a hotel room.

2 things that are for sure are scubadiving on the Great Barrier and visiting the Steve Irwin's zoo.

230/240 watts, 50hz I believe, but of course a lot of hotels and motels will have multi-sockets on the walls.

I work at an electric products factory (PDL), a lot of our stuff goes over to Australia.  I had a good laugh one day when I saw an industrial fitting packet with the text "Matrix.  Australia Tough" on it

Make sure you come to Sydney. I don't think I need to explain why it's THE most stunning city in all of Australia.

Come to the NT.

No other place on earth quite like it.

Our water has alcohol content higher than many brands of vodka.

Great choice!

I'm wondering what kind of power outlets you have down there.  are they euopean ones or north american ones?
Neither - NOT NORTH AMERICAN PLUGS!!! See the Wiki page on power plugs. More specifically, the Australian Domestic plug page. You can buy these adapters at airports.

Do note that Australian power runs at 220/240V @ 50Hz, while American power is 120/127V @ 60Hz. Some appliances might not work.

What do you guys think is something that i "should" see when I'm there?
Hmm, well there is lots of stuff to do in Sydney, and all over the eastern seaboard for that matter. For a starting point, I'll direct you to Tourism Australia, although Australia.com might be better. Look under the plan your trip section.

EDIT: Some stuff that just 'came to me'...

You want slang? ---> A-Z of Aussie Slang and also Here. The second one has a "Slang basics" section that is great for the uninitiated. However, don't go overboard with it. You'll sound stupid.

Go to the Goald Coast its awesome if you go there go to the hard rock caffe and behind the guitar was the hotel I was staying in. Theres also a tennis court behind it. Pretty cool. Sydneys the best dont go to Melbourne its heaps boring. I climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge its really good the scariest part is going underneath the bridge to get to the top. If your lucky when you go back down you might get a train to go past your head like me. Heaps awesome, have fun!

In Sydney: Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Darling Harbour, Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Wildlife Park (these are all near the harbour, which is a popular tourist spot). Also, there is Taronga Zoo.

If you're going down south towards Melbourne, take the Great Ocean Drive. If possible, visit Bega for some of the tastiest dairy products you'll ever taste.

Up north, past Brisbane, there's Cairns, which is also a popular tourist location where you can see saltwater crocodiles.

There are plenty of free tourist maps at information centres and probably the airport.
