Mod Edit: Flecco is correct in stating this. Far too often does someone get flamed relentlessly for stating his or her opinion in this section. I'll allow disagreements, I'll allow some name-calling, I'll understand if someone overreacts, but from now on this section will be much more heavily moderated. So please, for your own sake, and to prevent confrontation, keep a level head.
After ghosting in the D&ST section for over a year now, I have seen many things come and go and learned much. The most important thing I have become aware of though is a dire need for many members of the D&ST community to purchase the following...
The amount of flaming that goes on in that section is insane. When did personal attacks become debate? I myself learned a harsh lesson in the first thread I posted in on this site. I made some assumptions about Gunslinger which I am not proud of. I have since learned much from him and I value his perspective on many matters, particularly those relating to the Middle East.
I have posted this in the junk drawer as I'm not sure a mod would allow it in the D&ST section, it may be considered spam.

The D&ST section used to be a very different place really. Far less flaming. I think Ikarti's role as a humorous flametroll kept that section pretty calm at times, as everybody was flaming him or laughing at him.
So please, if you can't keep a level head, that part of the forums isn't for you.
Mods, if you find it appropriate feel free to move this to the D&ST section, but I don't think it will do much good at all.
