The US never do follow the rules anyway. They don't acknowledge the international courts in the Hague, they constantly break treaties such as the anti-ballistic missile treaty and so on and so forth.
Everyone else has to follow the rules too. It's just the US break them more often than most, so it comes up more often. Israel break the rules a lot too.

If the U.K. want our missle defense sites in their country let them pay for them. The article states that the sites in the U.K. may not work if a missle was launched from Iran because the curvature of the Earth would block the radar sites from picking up a launch. In short I say we should put them where they work best and that isn't the U.k.
P.S. Read the article. The U.S. isn't wanting to put these sites in the U.K. Its your government that is wanting the sites there. We (US) should stick with the original idea and continue to work with Poland and the Czech Republic and locate the sites there. Hell they could use the money that we will give them more than the U.K.

Yes. We already have their bombers, interceptors, early warning systems, and tankers based here, and their ships taking up huge chunks of port on occasion, so why not anti-missile systems?

I had hoped that the with drawl of UK troops from Iraqi might be the start of a move away from US ass kissing foreign policy. Sadly it looks like that Muppet Blair is going to place a prime target for terrorists and a first strike Nuclear attack target on UK soil. Why the fuck don't they just add some more stars on the stars and stripes and call us the USA. It puts the UK in line for the eventual consequences and fallout (literally) of the USA's imperialistic 'New World Order' shit storm, when it finally goes tits up.
