Since today my game doesnt run multiplayer anymore. My newly installed virus scanner detected something, and I pushed the delete option. Ever since, my multiplayer doesnt run anymore. My singleplayer runs fine. So i decided to reinstall my bf2. Delete my cache and shit, but yet, the problem remains.

The actual problem is: is go to servers -> doubleclick a server i like -> and BANG, a crash to the desktop.

Does anyone have experience with this problem or a solution? I googled for an hour, but I couldn't find a suitable solution.

Try updating punkbuster. I had some problems yesterday as well. Mine wasn't crashing though... it's worth a shot if you haven't done it in a while.
Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it

i just had bad ctd issues if u look at the tech section u will see, i just installed new software b4 the ctd happened. try uninstallin ure new virus software and try it out

A system restore fixed it, thanks for your help anyway.

Paul Bearer (i think his name was), the Undertaker's sidekick from back in the day when Hulk Hogan was still like the champ.

Would you believe me if I told you I was gonna say "can you do a system restore"? No? I always forget about that anyway, thanks for posting your fix though, it helps anyone else that might have your problem.
