After playing fb2 for about 8 months ive noticed it gradualy takes longer to log in. as of today it takes about 1 minute to log in. ive suspected this is because it loads up that damn 'favourites' list, with EVERY server ive ever played on.

so i create a new account and it takes <15 seconds to log in.

so i ask, is there a way i can remove all those favourites/ battlerecorder bookmarks which im guessing are the cause of increasing log in times?

Cant you just click on it, and click remove down in the bottom right.

Yeah unfortunately, you can only remove favorites one by one.  So after 8 months of playing, it may take a while to get rid of em, but once you do....Lighning login times, haha.  I dunno there may be some way of removing them all at once, but I sure as hell do not know it.

Naw, you have to do it one by one, which is a pain, because every time you click on one, it refreshes the server.

check your system files for your favorites list and delete them through there.  i forget the file name but its possible.

Yeah I hate that, especially the servers in your favorites that aren't up anymore.  I swear sometimes it takes 4 minutes for BF2 to realize the damn thing isn't there anymore.  Could I say anymore anymore?..............

delete your BF2 folder in your documents.

open up BF2 and recover account.

go to "my documents/battlefield 2/profile/0002 (or some other number with your correct profile)/general.con

open this file (general.con) and scrolldown

delete lines like this:

GeneralSettings.addServerHistory "84.244.187.43" 29900 "BRUNZ 24/7 WAKE ONLY" 442

You can also delete the GeneralSettings.addFavouriteServer lines, but those are your real favorites.

This isn't as long as clicking, waiting, remove, clicking waiting remove, ... (and you don't have to log in for houres first before you can delete them).
