This video is flawed. The alternate geopolitical sphere and the Atlantic/Pacific united by such an enormous gap would've called for differing conditions, and advances made by us in that universe would've been made by someone else. Who knows? Arabs might've been burning Canadian flags today. I might've grown up in the north saying 'eh, or back drinking in Ireland, completely oblivious to the internet.

Seriously though... at that point in the video, I had to ask why that would be such a bad thing. The world would've been better off after WW2 if America had just taken in all of the Jews. That way, they could live peacefully here without anyone trying to kill them.

Hell, the world would be better off if Europe had just learned how to coexist with the Jews before WW2.

Well the video started out well enough, but the last two points were rather debatable. The world would be poorer without us? Well, multinational corporations are a lot of the reason for why certain areas are kept impoverished, so that's not really a specifically American problem or something we help much with.

The world would be held hostage by tyrants without us? Plenty of the world is under the rule of tyrants, some of whom we supported or continue to support.
