I did a search and found nothing similar. My g5 mouse sensitivity wont change like it should when I launch the game. Most the time it wont change at all and when it does the + and - act opposite. I tried updating setpoint and no change.
Warranty return.
If the hardware is not actually working when you press the buttons, something is wrong, it has nothing to do with Setpoint, have it replaced.

If you have a second computer, plug the mouse in that without drivers (SetPoint). The G5 has a non-driver mode with only three settings. If it doesn't work then, its buggered.

Also works fine on a diff comp. The comp I would like to use it on is a dell xps-m1710. anything I should look for?
Have you updated firmware?
Try to completley unistall your old mouse drivers. Maybe you have some sort of conflict there.
