What are some good ways to get both? Tried getting in a Mech and ALWAYS the driver gets every kill.
I got my ribbon back in the days of transport glitching over the titans. Ironically, I got the award by killing 3 people named Havoc.... (yes, their name is different than mine). I can get the pin on Gibraltar by using the gunner seat of the mech, so I assume you could get the ribbon that way too.
find a map that has the titans right next to eachother, and shoot the enemy air vehicles as they are coming out. thats what i did and got it. or just keep trying in a mech. maybe get a mech to yourself and go off without a teammate and then switch seats to kill people.
Verdun, center flags near the wall. You have almost 80% coverage of the map. I got my ribbon there.
Sidi powerplant - titan aa guns
On a busy titan map, when shields go down, sit on the Titan AA. So powerful, doesnt overheat, good range too. Plus, sometimes if you get recon trying to RDX the guns down, blow them away, and that counts towards it. Easy kills.Fuzzball_the_Shooter wrote:

Well, sitting in an Titan AA gun doesn't work either. People NEVER want to come towards the titan. And if they do, both titan guns can't reach far enough to kill them.
Gibraltor in a walker - you need a mate in the primary seat who's not all about the kills and who's prepared to help you out.

You can't shoot the infantry on the titan; you haev to wait until they are bringing in a transport. Most experienced transport pilots know how low the titan AA guns can shoot, and slide right under. But some people get lazy if they do not see a lot of incoming fire, or you could have a rook pilot. The key is to sit there and hold your fire until they get far enough into your arc that they can not get back out. I have gotten 20+ kills just from transports with the titan AA gun in a single round.Fuzzball_the_Shooter wrote:

Sometimes you have luck and Titan AA is extremly effective and othertimes you'll see no victim at all.
And it's much better, when both Titans are not close together! So the guys can't use the Titan pods to jump over and will use the transport heli constantly (together with ATVs of course).
Still need some hours for gold before I can go for the 30 kills iar. Did two pins more than once but never three - will be a hard job to do. (By the way: Don't tell the Recons that they can't blow the Titan AAs, I'll need those occasional extra kills. )

Play Suez Canal in Titan mode.
Be commander and move your titan to the far north, in the rocky terrain. Difficult and far for APC´s to move up to there so the enemy will most likely use transports to board your titan. Just shoot them down as they approach with the titan AA.
If someone drives an APC up there destroy it with the titan guns.
This is best done with a buddy of yours, cause sometimes skilled pilots WILL land on your titan avoiding your AA gunfire. Just tell your buddy to destroy the transport to prevent the enemy from spawning on your titan. You can obtain the seat at the AA this way and don´t miss incoming tranports.

Heres one that works if the enemy has a squad beacon on the very top of your titan.
1. RECON with APMs
2. POD on top, place APMs around squad beacon
3. Jump down into flight deck and hop in the AA guns
4. Wait and shoot down any transports and let the enemy that pod in run into your APMs while your in the AA
(these count as AA kills if you note it will say YOU [killed] whomever )
5. Rinse and repeat.

No, not really:
- Best class at the six guns is Engineer to be able to repair them by yourself (and to get some extra points).
- There are no more Supporters there, so new APMs may be difficult to get.
- The time for jumping up, searching for ammo, placing the APMs and running back is way to long! For this two kills you might miss one or more choppers with possibly more victims.
- Perhaps you're unlucky and someone kills you up there: 15 seconds of doing nothing but missing the next transport.
If you want to include those additional "AA"-kills do it only on the ground and shortly before your shields go down, place the next two APMs on your Titan and than stay at the guns as long as possible.

Actualy best was is stationary AA gun (rorsch) on Sidi Powerplant or Shuia Taiba on Conquest. Since there are no Titan pods to pod to every flag people are more likely to use transport ships. And they are almost always full.
- Is there any special trick with the stationary AAs? I hardly hit anything and if I do, those pieces don't do much damage. In addition those uncooperative bastards just jump off if I'm lucky to hit their chopper a few times. Unfortunately you don't get the kills, unless you really shoot them down, crashes (pilot's mistake or emp) don't count.
- When I'm lucky to board a walker there is a 100% chance of someone taking seat #1 and starting running around immediately. No chances to hit anything at all!
- Where are all the noob pilots gone? Meanwhile it's hard to get just one pin with the Titan AAs - and I need three.
I'm allready at 55 hrs AA time now and I really want this f.. gold now! Any tricks or special tips for me?

Don't try and kill infantry. If you do see one very close you may get a kill, but don't risk it. Take a look around you. Are there tanks, walkers? Get out and run. So, you've spotted and are locked to enemy transport. This is hard. EMP them. Once to hit them, and then again. Start shooting where they are going TO, not where they are.

I just want to know which uber weapon the boys at DICE had in mind when they decided that 30 kills iar should be possible. (Sure, everything is possible. At least in 1 out of 100 or 1000 rounds.)

U could try sitting on the titan deck with saw aa now the bug has fixed it locks on to everything and u only need two shots unlimited height alteration etc...
Do you really think that using the SAAW counts as sitting in an AA vehicle?
Tita AA, titan miles away from anywhere = kills. simple. people wont eject, as the transport is the only way to board the titan

Silo 1, 3 and 4 is good place to hide your tank near by and wait for in coming Transport. Silo 5 is also good when you sit your tank under the bridge for cover those Titan gun rampage. The AA gun on top of Tank is good enough to kill Transport and w/ people inside. You will award w/ more than 2 kill w/ one shot.
By the time Titan shell down, jump back to AA gun on Titan and wait for in coming Transport. It will depend on where your commander move your Titan. It only work it 2 Titan is not too close.
That how I get my award w/ 32 kill and 3 dead, dumn those gunship get me kill inside the Tank 3 time.

To my mind only the following are AA vehicles (and those are requested for the badge): Titan AA, stationary AA and 2nd seat in a Walker.
