Just say my name FFS.

I am not attacking anyone here.  Some people thought the initial vote meant the increase would not happen.
Not you... you weren't the one who posted above him.

If the US is not the nursemaid to the Middle East, why the fuck do you care about the terrorist problems?
It's because of this thing called 9/11, dickwad.
He actually asked a valid question, "dickwad."  9/11 was cause for concern for terrorists interested in attacking us, but not terrorists that only attack other Muslims.  We have no logical reason to remain in Iraq, because most of the terror is only Muslims vs. other Muslims.  These people only attack us because we're in the area.  They have no interest in flying over to America to kill us.

What happens if we leave? It's no doubt a screwed up situation, but I foresee a complete humanitarian disaster with a dash of ethnic cleansing and a sprinkle of mass executions. The debate if the war should have started is long gone. I think it is just as irresponsible to completely abandon the Iraqis. Everyone who advocates an immediate pull out without having some sort of plan should be prepared for the consequences. I simply don't know what the plan should be at this point. What I do know is that people seem to be more concerned with allocating blame and trying to separate themselves from the issue. Where is the leader with a real plan?
It is true that most Democrats seem devoid of ideas.  Yet, honestly, I don't care what happens to the Iraqi people.  I know that's selfish and heartless, but you choose your battles.  It's just not worth our efforts.

We should withdraw and focus on domestic defense.
