Well I've been at this problem for a long time and tried everything that you can think of and I mean everything. I've googled and read every possible cause and solution, from network to dual core issues and still I was having the connection problem. but finally the Problem was fixed. I've been playing BF2 for days with no problems. I just about sh*t myself. I couldn't believe I was actually playing this game for so long without loosing connection . So here is what I did go to this site and download this fix. Its that easy. http://support.microsoft.com/?id=896256 or  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909944/  see you on the battlefield.

I believe that this is an isolated case and that there are many other causes and solutions to this problem.

bah! I've tried everything and still didnt fix the problem and my rig is very similar to most peoples systems and I havent changed anything. Bf2 ran fine until the last patch. then  when I get into a game and start playing for about ten minutes give or take then a freeze and the  "Your connection to server has been lost" message.  and theirs nothing wrong with my connection and I dont get any lag in  the game. If you do your homework and read all the posts on this subject. I couldn't have been anything else. {and I'm still playing Bf2 with no connection loss }. finally

you are so smart Winxpsux  but that " windows dual core hotfix v4" was needed to fix the compatability issues I had when playing BF2, so every time I enter a game I get bumped out  and up came this screen"Your connection to server has been lost"  and there is nothing wrong with my bandwidth. Like I said I tested everything! so the problem was with my prossesor ,winxp and what ever they did in that last bf2 patch.  this problem wasnt there before. but many peeps are having this issue and are looking at these sites for a solution. I'm just saving them the grief.

i have this problem n it is so fuckin annoying. i have tried every single thing n i have read hundered of forums but i cant find a fix

i even tried your thing n it not working

ea n bf2 have fucked up bad this time
