From what I have read on these forums, you apparently have a knife problem now. There will always be a replacement for what has been taken away, so I say- give the people their rights to bust caps again!!

It'd only lead to chav's having handguns, and that's something I really don't like the idea of. Yes the 'real criminals' already have guns, but so far I have never been bothered by them, whereas I have been bothered by chav's with knifes/fists.

Columbus has different laws then the rest of Ohio. Here in Youngstown, I can own Class 3 weapons as well.usmarine2007 wrote:

For some reason, Columbus has strict laws regarding what could be mailed in. For instance, you can't have high capacity magazines shipped to your front door. As the laws go for owning certain weapons, I'm not entirely sure.

What's wrong with UK gun laws??
Does anyone remember he Dunblaine shootings that got the law changed?
A crazed scout master shot a load of primary school kids with a gun then shot himself.
Since then there have been NO gun massacres in schools.
We have a defence against guns we have armed response units, yes there is gun crime but it is very small.

Armed response units/police are mop up crews. Rarely do they prevent gun crime. They wait outside the building so they don't provoke the shooters. Then when the shooting starts, it's too late. With the current chav population boom, making access to firearms anything other than prohibitively expensive is a very bad idea. All the wanna be hard nuts with an actual way of doing something.... gun crime would be prolific.
Or take chris rocks idea of guns for all, but REALLY expensive ammo.... if someone got shot by a chav, chances the chav worked 2 jobs for a month and saved really really hard.... so the guy he killed probably deserved it!
