. . . and put them into a "strategic energy fund".  That's what we can look forward to if that battleaxe gets elected.  Government should start snagging profits from industry and putting it where it feels necessary.   Hmmm, wonder if she would've liked it if the government grabbed some of her profits when she invested 10K in cattle futures and ended up with 100K.

Edit: Anyone else notice that she yells a lot?
It'd all be spent on condom-crafted Christmas ornaments and trees planted in the middle of federal building parking lots and driveways. Then once her term would be done, she'd take all the silverware with her.

Anyway, she doesn't have the class to be President.  Think of Margret Thatcher and then Hillary Clinton.  When I think of Thatcher I think of class, confidence, and inteligence.
That's funny because Margaret Thatcher was actually a cruel, callous quasi-man with dictatorial cravings and a penchant for watching people starve to death whilst having the police in her own country bludgeon the lower classes with batons and water-cannons. Her and Hillary have a bit in common when it comes to state terrorism it would seem (given Hillary's Zionist-loving tendencies).

Obama doesn't have enough experience to be president.  The GOP can easily scare people away from him simply with that argument.  I know I wouldn't want a president who didn't even have a full term as a senator.  I want to get to know his voting record, see which way he usually goes.

Not to mention his Islamic background, he would loose a lot of swing votes just because of that.
You're probably right...  but it's the principle that counts.  The Democrats need to set a precedent with Obama running.  He'll be the first black candidate and the first Muslim one.  This will be good for future elections, even if Obama loses.

Besides, the GOP is quite capable of scaring a lot of people away from any candidate the Democrats run.  If they could convince people that Kerry is worse than Bush, then they're capable of just about anything.

The Democrats should worry less about what the GOP will do and more about what their own candidate really stands for.

Nevertheless, the experience angle makes sense, but on the other hand, I'm of the opinion that we need a political outsider in the Oval Office, because the vast majority of career politicians (of both parties) are corrupt as hell.  I want someone young and fresh as president, not some corporate scumbag like Bush.

All the GOP had to do was quote Kerry - he defeated himself.

Very true,  To be honest, Kerry or Bush, just flip a coin they both sucked equally.

And Obama won't be the first black candidate.  In 1996 Colin Powel made a bid for president, he was exceedingly popular and was a shoe in for the Republican candidate.  No other republican even came close to keeping up with him.  He canceled his presidential bid at the request of his daughter, she was afraid he would be killed by racist extremest's.  I'm guessing he probably received a few death threats or maybe even a close call.  I wish he'd stayed in, he probably would have been one of the best presidents this country would have had.
