I'm sure most of you have been victim of the rank glitch where your true rank is not shown in-game, but instead you are a lowly private. Happens maybe once a week to me, but the last few times I've really started to notice how abusive people are to so-called 'noobs.' I hopped in the attack heli at Oman, and all I see is "get out noob," or "dont fly with him, he'll crash soon enough." Even half-way through the round, I was in the top 5 scores, and people were still talking shit. I started thinking that this shouldn't be a glitch, but instead an option before you start the round. I wonder how much different the game would be if people weren't so blinded by rank, and instead everyone was a "private." What do you think?

Doesn't matter really. People base skill by what they see in someone's rank, which is stupid to me.

rank glitch is cool in bf2142, you get all your 2000 point awards over again. I the rank bug on a server so i got every single award over again lol i got like 12000 in a day.

true i may still be a little green around the trigger, but to me getting my kdr over 1 was an accomplishment. i don't talk shit to anyone unless they start it, and i certainly don't abuse the newcomers. if you are constantly crapping on everyone until they quit, who are you going to play against?
