I know i posted somthing similar already but i got a quote from a computer shop and they changed the graphics card because they had a shortage in-stock so im now probaly getting a Leadtek 7900gs but i cant seem to find anywhere if it works with d-sub only monitors. I already know they work with DVI but i want to be 100% sure they work with both types before i buy it.
what the fuck is a d-sub monitor?

Normal monitors use d-sub connectors and digital monitors use DVI cables
Leadtek cards are shipped with a d-sub connector, kinda adapter.
I think all cards ship with a vga adapter so you don't need a dvi monitor.
So if my monitor was d-sub and DVi compatible would i need to use the leadtek adapter thing, or is that adapter only for dvi cables to plug into?Sl4y3r wrote:

My Leadtek 7900GTX´s only have DVI, I use them with a 21" CRT and the above mentioned adapter.
the cable coming off your monitor will either be 15 pin D Sub or DVI if it is D Sub you will need to use the adaptor supplied to convert the connector to a DVI connector it will not give you DVI capabilites ..B00MH3ADSH0T wrote:

Every card i have bought has came with a vga adapter free, so they will ship it with one.
