What the fuck would Iran do to Saudi Arabia?

The Saudi Arabian Army is much larger and much, much better equiped than the Iranians. Iran wouldn't stand a chance in a war with the Saudis.

Both countries have equally strong ties to terrorism, but the quality of life for Saudis is significantly lower than for Iranians. Iran has a much more progressive regime than the extremist Saudi royalty. Saudi Arabias human rights record is much worse than Irans too. All in all the Saudis seem far worse to me than the Iranians, but of course they are close allies of the West, because we want to buy their oil.

Wait a minute. Has anyone thought this through?!  How the hell is Iran going to invade Saudi Arabia?  They arent border sharing neighbors.  Looks at what's between them.  IRAQ.  Do you really think the US is going to let Iran prance through Iraq to invade Saudi Arabia?

I think that is what he meant.  Anyway, the plane was leased by the Saudis thru NetJets.....Bush did not pay for it.
I know he meant that, but I needed to clarify it (or so I felt). The main thing is there was a ban on air travel in those days - why did they, who should've been held for questioning, get such special privileges?

If we take my point of view, letting the Iranians and Saudis obliterate each other draws the rest of the middle east into one big slug fest, and they stop caring about us for the moment, giving us time to pull our pants up and get serious domestically.  You know times are good when your enemies are fighting each other :p

Why would any of us go fight for one of those countries unless we are of Saudi or Iranian heritage, and even then I could imagine people staying put. Let them fight over there like idiots. Both of them need to be reminded just how pathetic they are as countries.

Not at all.

Treating them like cunts won't get us anywhere. We need to get them onside. The Saudis are already, but still use Sharia law etc. the Iranians aren't, but there is much more likelihood of reform in Iran.

With Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and Israel onside, the middle east suddenly would be a lot calmer. Everyone could just focus on peace in Israel.
