Honestly, people either believe that Islam is a religion of violence or they don't.  No amount of proof will change a lot of minds around here.  People will point out stuff from the old testament or point to the crusades and say Christians and Jews do the same thing.  I disagree, because if you look at the history of Islam, the religion was started with the sword.  Christianity was spread through nonviolent civil disobediance.  Read up on the first years of Islam and of Christianity.  The Christians were being stoned to death but not attacking anyone.  The Muslims were basically a military faction.  The rock Christianity is built on is peace, but Islam was founded by the sword.

There was a group of Christian priests in Melbourne who said the same shit about muslims. But they are allowed to and were even supported by John Howard!

I hate all religion. Except for Buddhism, the perfect religion. Think about it, whens the last time a Buddhist monk made an insult?

The Christianity part was not directed at any member of this forum, just the world's society as a whole. We seem more likely to accept Christianity and Christian leaders insult others than we are to allow Muslims to do the same.

And I agree with you about Buddhism, it's the only true religion that deplores violence and because of it it is the only religion that will get my support.
