I think it would be cool in SF if they gave SAS different camo for their maps, not just black.

Examples:
Warlord: Desert DPM camo
Ghost Town: Black is fine, but the green DPM would be cool I think.

I want the tanks more resistant to damage taken when going down hill or up hill. I mean, when you drive full speed with a tank and going down a slope, you'll take a small amount of damage when hitting the ground at the bottom of the hill when the ground flats out again. It seems unrealistic to me. That the vehicle gets damaged when driving fast up on a hill or down.

Well, it is realistic though.
A tank isn't just a piece of armor steel, but made of a lot of mechanical, electrical and computer parts.

In fact, high speed impacts in a vehicle should damage the drivers and passengers in side a bit.

Well not the vehicle.. you lose a whole point (dot) on the health bar for the vehicle.
Vehicle should not lose so much "HP" when crashing or driving fast down a slope or vice versa. But the crew members might lose some I agree on that. But I'm talking about the vehicle.

no.

they arent changing the fog settings in any of the old maps.
there is fog in the new map because there are no air vehicles and its an urban environment, like karkand

So is this patch actually ever coming out? Thank goodness I didn't hear about it till the other day (bumped this because I'm trying to figure anything out about it) because I would have died waiting for it. Winter 2008 is dead and gone.

That would be cool, though I like an occaisinal round of Kark ranked. I think Mashtuur or maybe even the new map would turn into the new "infantry map", but Mash is more balanced between classes, as it is more open.

sharqi or mashtuur I think.

it's not karkand's fault that every other bf2 map only really works for vehicles and its impossible to get any kind of balanced gameplay on bf2 maps because 85% of bf2 players are brainless cannon fodder.

I'd play jalalabad if my team didn't get me camped to death in the USMC uncap

I'd play mashtuur if every spawnpoint wasn't nadeable from a million different places

I'd play songhau if it wasn't totally ugly with slow frustrating gameplay

karkand's the only real map on IO where a shit team won't hold you back.

Add a transport-only options (that is, buggies, jeeps and boats only).
Add a no-aircraft option (that is, ground and water vehicles only).

Add a no medic kit option. Would be more intresting in IO. As a sniper you wont see the medic f**s bunny away with the med bag in their hand.
Of course if you die then you die. Supply box could still heal you

you have to remember though this game was built with tanks etc, when they made inf only the maps were not made for it so it wouldnt ever work as well as css

You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

Would love to see a kit restriction option on IO servers, so you could for example play a round of karkand IO with no nades, and watch the shit players get super-owned.
