I had no problems with EA downloader (before it became EA link). Methinks your computer just hates you. Or you're using Microsoft internet explorer...lol. Get firefox and see what happens.

I can clearly see an 'x' in that image.
Did you click 'i need help' next to the code imput box? Some forms give you an option to register another way (for the visually impared).
Also check if you do not have scripting (java, active x etc.) blocked etc. in IE.
Finally send EA an e-mail with this screenshot and ask them for a sollution

I couldnt even get my Vet status working.
I had 3 EA accounts, logged into the wrong one. And cryed when I saw I couln't log into another account to get my leet name...teddy..jimmy wrote:

For a start to problem 1. Change browser, or maybe it will have a blocked content at the top of the window that you need to right click and allow.
As to the 3 accounts... OMG just log out and into the different one not hard.
