If you are less lucky you will be on a RIM (those DAxxx things) which can also be capable of 24mbit, but if Internode or anyone ever install their own DSLAM in the exchange you cannot access it.
The least luck, you are on a RIM, but its one of those sucky ones than can only give you 3mbit.
* RIM is a mini-exchange. Those big green things you see in new estates.
* CMUX is a RIM capable of 24mbit per line.
* DSLAM is the ADSL equipment installed in an exchange.
