Full to half moon = high visibility. I spent a few months suffering from mild insomnia interspersed with serious stretches of little to no sleep for weeks on end. Used to go on long walks. Tbh up here it's always been like that. Very high visibility when the sky is clear and the moon is around half-full in it's cycle. That and a lot of camping expiditions/pissing on trees in the paddock late at night show's me that this level of visibility is normal.

Btw, Hakei do you live in the city/near a major urban centre? Light pollution might be fucking with the levels of light in your area.
