Officer. I shat myself when I did mine and didn't see pilot. But officer was there and that's all good. Then they send you to Melbourne to do some medicals and a air crew aptitude test and then if you pass that and you want to go to ADFA you go to the admissions board.KuSTaV wrote:

I dont want to screw mine up because I want to go in as a pilot, and for that I'd have to get selected for pilot selection, dont I?
I also had a good sleep.... went to sleep at 2:30, alarm at 8:30, woke up at either 9 or 10:30... my mind isnt in gear.
Anyone gonna watch the NRL s'arvo?
Wrong. You just weren't good enough.Hakei wrote:
KuSTaV, unless you've done shit loads of stuff with aeronautics in the past and have a real passion for jets, they will kick you back. I went in for it and they said that being healthy and fit is only part of the admittance, kind of a shitter so yeah - make sure you've either done it or lie.
That's exactly what I said. I have no aeronautic background and I don't like planes.Adams_BJ wrote:

I won't freak you out by telling you the failure rates. . But it isn't that hard. I did mine a year outa school and I didn't think I would remember a thing.Wrong. You just weren't good enough.Hakei wrote:

I couldn't name a jet if I saw one, I don't understand any of the instruments inside, I don't go to air shows. It's not as if I detest them and think they're evil death traps, other people just appreciate and have more passion for them than I do.Flecco wrote:

Wow, is THAT what it stands for?! I've heard it a few times from friends still in cadets, but I was never told what it actually stood for. Back when I tried out it was a JOES day.. job opportunity evaluation session or something like that.KuSTaV wrote:
