I have heard of people getting in trouble for starving their pets......but never for feeding them too much junk.

I think it's the dogs fault for being too lazy.usmarine2007 wrote:

Unless the dog was force-fed, I think it has to take at least some of the blame.
Listen here.I own a white lab and it is very overwieght but we don't overfeed it,the damn dog is lazy as hell. She wakes up with me in the morning before work (6:00 a.m) i feed her breakfast then she goes right back to sleep until about 2:00-3:00p.m (during the week). Then i come home and she sits there watching me make supper, until i feed here, then she goes outside a bit, then sleep again.Thats her routine during the week.arson wrote:
If your too lazy to keep after a pet you shouldn't take on the responsibility. They get sick just like people do and need proper medical care which can be very expensive. Taking your pet home and ignoring its medical needs is criminal, as these 2 found out the hard way. I wonder how long its ear infection went untreated before the forced med treatment went into place. Poor dog must have been suffering terribly.
