I sort of feel bad for some of these guys, they probably joined the Guard for college money or extra income, thinking they would not be away from home for too long.........now they become full time grunts.

Well, having been active and reserve, I can say they both are just as hard.  But as for the Guard, I have no idea, the Marines do not have a Guard.

I can say that I have trained on National Guard bases, and some of them would be a stretch to call them a military unit.

At least they'll play long enough to get some weapon unlocks.

Depends on your religion. In some, you do respawn. In others, you merely advance to the next level. Wouldn't know what to spend the new skill points on, though.

Question: If you could remember everything you learned in past lives, would that make you a real-life twink (RPG def)? Man...that would be so awesome. Born with uber skills and knowledge of where all your past loot's hidden.

Yet another reason NOT to join for college money...

I'm trying to figure out the larger implications of deploying a patriot battery to the middle east.  I haven't heard of many insurgents flying military aircraft or using Scuds...but that deserves its own thread.

I joined for the uniform baby! Dress blues FTW! But I'll take any consequence that comes with it, even the death part. You signed up, you should have been prepared to face whatever is thrown your way the moment you signed your life away.
