Yah I never bought expansion packs before until now. I was just wondering if I would be able to play the original bf2 when the expansion is installed. I know it might seem like I'm a noob but oh well.

Hmm it's called a BF2 EXPANSION, as in it EXPANDS the game, not replaces it. One of the noobest questions I've seen thus far. Congrats! Now delete this thread please.

And just to reiterate: yes, you can still play BF2 when the expansion is installed. Actually, you will even have more weapons to choose from in BF2 now.
