OK, so I've got ~$220 US, and I was trying to decide between a new CPU (E6300, I'm gonna overclock it to E6400 status) or a third GB of RAM. (I'm also saving up for a new Gfx card, so a GB of RAM would let me keep more of the money, or I could get a new PSU).

Will I notice any difference if I get the RAM?
What about the CPU?

Thanks

Keep saving the money, unless your current CPU is piss-poor.

Is a Pentium D 805 piss-poor? I think it is.

If memory serves isn't that the really cheap pentium that you can OC to ridiculous speeds?

Maybe I'm thinking of a different one.

In any case for BF2 you won't notice much (if any) difference with between 2GB and 3GB so I'd keep saving for that new graphics card/CPU.

Yeah, I overclocked mine to over 3Ghz, but the cache is like, 32KB!

Don't waste your money on any more ram. Wait for the graphics card.
