its an evangelical site that sells a youth bible with comics. If you click the "Hot Comics" Sidebar, you can sample some of their stuff.

I gotta say, while I agree with the idea of trying to make people better, some of these really disgust me and are laughably hypocritical. The homosexuality one is a really kicker.

I have gotta agree.... I have no problem that people that are religious... just people that try and inflict their problems (their religion) on other people. Thefore that site is one of the biggest piles of shit I have ever seen.

hehehe Yes, some religious folks seem to enjoy making up rules that are not in the Bible. Imo . . . rock music FTW! I'm a Metallica fan (how can you argue with Master of Puppets and the Black album) and listen to a lot of Christian rock bands (Switchfoot, P.O.D., Chevelle, etc etc). Red's new album End of Silence is awesome btw.

The homosexual one was funny, but it actually made a good point. From the Christian perspective, it is true that hatred and homosexuality are both sins. So, by pointing out that hatred of gay people is just as much a sin as being gay, they were at least consistent with their message.

Personally, I don't believe in sin, and I think being gay is just a personal choice that some people prefer (or perhaps, are born with). I don't see anything wrong with being gay, but I do see something wrong with being hateful.

Of course, whether or not being gay is totally a choice or totally a genetic thing is up for debate. Personally, I think it's probably a combination for most gay people -- at least for most of the ones I've known.

The figures from the WHO tell a different story. 10-14% ineffective "due primarily to inconsistent and incorrect use, not to condom failure".

They also mention that "Laboratory studies have found that viruses (including HIV) do not pass through intact latex condoms even when devices are stretched or stressed".

Unless condoms burst, which they do as I mentioned earlier, they are very close to being 100% effective. Epidemiologic studies show them to be 99% effective.
