I personally do not watch much but i turned the TV on the other day and could not believe the absolute drivel that is on now.

There are so many make over, property development and reality TV shows that I nearly through the TV out of the window. The worst thing thing is I have to pay a license fee for it.

So do you watch soaps and Big Brother, please tell me why as I hate it. gggrrrrrrr

The main person who watches TV in our house is my 8 year old daughter and that's pretty much exclusively the Disney Channel. About the only things I watch now are Top Gear and Scrubs but I have got an extensive DVD collection so I just watch a film.

LOL, yeah i watch TV but not things you say...
i usualy watch movies, tv shows ( CSI (las vegas, miami, new your) , Numbers, NCIS,....well that kind of things )
i watch too documentary things ( about nature, science, tech, history .... )
i watch news ( most of time Euronews )

dont worry me too i hate soaps, big brother, reality shows, and stuff like that

I rent 8 weekly DVD's for $8.00 and watch them all week, every week. Mostly anime though. It's getting harder and harder to find movies I haven't seen.

I hardly ever watch televisions because there is a ridiculous amount of advertising that I can't stand. There's only a few shows that even deserve the respect of being watched. And these are.......

-The Chaser's War On Everything, recently on Australian TV, it's a bunch of blokes that go around generally being hilarious. An example of one of their skits would be when one of the guys responded to news in the police that the supporters of a certain rugby team were violent. So he went to their next game and sold "Supporter Kits" containing fake knives, knuckledusters and balaclavas.

- The Glasshouse, although this has been axed recently. The right wing leaders of the ABC decided anything that took the piss out of the government was "too left wing". Remind you of anything?

- Sport, only time I'll turn onto a commercial network will be to watch the sport. Such as The Ashes cricket or to watch St Kilda play in the AFL, I love my sport

TV is generally a horrible thing where Australia has nearly 100 percent content that is American. To you yankies you'd be happy to see that the cultural invasion has been a total success!. I can't stand picking up the TV guide and seeing that tonight I have the choice of CSI, CSI New York, CSI Miami, Law And Order, Law And Order SVU or the New Adventures of Old Christine <rollseyes>

Some people I know will flick the channels and find something that is on even if the last program they find is crap they will still watch it.

-Sports
-South Park
-The Simpsons
-Discovery Channel
-National Geographic
-All kind of Anime
-A few movies, I prefer to rent them or buy them

Basicly I watch only Sports, news and few science shows. Occasionaly a cooking show
Everything else I download...

My problem is I get only German and Austrian chanels that synchronise all movies and TV shows to German which is awfull.

Since my introduction to Battlefield 2 and now 2142 I watch Very little TV. I do watch some times I like scrubs and I hate watching the "Reality TV shows" cuz i get cought up in it. They("Reality TV shows" are a complet waste of life. I Like watching movies.

Hardly watch any television. If I do it's generally comedy or an interesting-sounding documentary. When I go back to Donegal though I watch Fox News avidly because it's so jaw-droppingly worrying and enraging (not the best reason but I just can't help myself).

i hate most reallity shows especial idol(i dont care what country) what i hate about idol is the people who vote dont have a clue about good music and the people in the competitions now are just rejects from the other years/seasons.

Almost all TV is rubbish, but there are some great programmes thrown in there as well - I usually miss them because I watch so little TV I don't see the adverts that tell me when they're on.

Recently I've been watching a lot of old comedy stuff, mostly the New Statesman - It's sooooo good.
