Social Security reform fails. (Anyone remember that speech?)
Healthcare reform fails.
Raise the minimum wage fails.
Disaster relief fails (Heck of a job Browny!)

Tax Cuts passed.
Driving the country into defecit passed.
Alienate the US from foreign allies passed.
Illegal wiretaps passed.
Apparently opening mail without a warrant passed.

He is the most vacationed President in the history of the US. Passed.

FL that Crist had all ready won.  So Crist (who all ready had campaign plans to be elsewhere) campaigned where he need the swing voters.

-War is fluid.  Shit happens.  It doesn't help when "respected" assholes go on record and demand air time stating that the enemy is winning and that the US made a mistake, the enemy becomes more emboldened (google dems and Iraq war).  Thanks kerry types.  Never-mind, if Kerry won the election, we probably would have surrendered and let Saddam go..

-Minimum wage raise fails?  You don't know the first about the economy and what happens when the minimum wage is raised for no reason.  There is a reason why it is the minimum wage.  It was never intended to support a family of four.  It was a stepping stone to a better job.   But hell,  Google it.

-Disaster relief fails ,  You're right.  That Dem, nagan F-ed up royally. Refused Bush's offer for help, and then turned around and blamed it on him.

-Tax cuts passed.  And turned out to be the best thing for the economy.

Tone yourself down, fadedsteve.  If you want to look like an ass, you are well on your way past being successful.  Try organizing your retorts in a less belligerent matter, and people might start to take you seriously.

Anyways, we really need to do away with these "signing statements."  The President is not meant to be a despot, where s/he can just go about signing whatever they want into bills being passed, especially when what they add completely contradicts the initial plan of the bill.  Little by little, we are losing rights.  Little by little, people are telling us not to care about it; that it's OK and if you don't like it, "Clinton did the same thing" (but really didn't), "it's for our protection" (there are more Constitutionally sound ways to go about protecting our soil), or my favorite, "why do you hate America?" (instant punch in the face delivered by me).

People have already been indiscriminately jailed with no charge or accusation, and have been denied appeal/trial.  Bush and his administration have admitted to wiretapping without a warrant, when they were just minutes away from making it legal.  He has lied to Congress and to the public to get his way.  He is doing whatever he wants to get his way, and is doing whatever he can to disrupt the Check and Balances in our government.  It is absolutely beyond me as to why anyone would still be fully 100% behind his actions and decisions.
