I grew up in a military town and just wanted to say thank you for all they do/did and for having the guts to do something that wasn't necessarily popular. So...






THANK YOU for all you do/did. I support you all the way



NOTE: this is not to be taken as i support all of the war the US is/has been/are in, but I do support the troops.

Which pissed me off because my only reply was "I don't support you then".

Both you and that particular soldier are confused. The Soldier does not make the policy. Most Soldiers are just out to do what their country ask of them, including dieing.

But, let me help you step back from your shell for a second.

What would you do if people came into your country and started taking over, removing your leaders from power and reinstating a 'better' government.

The "patriotic" thing to do would be to fight back...

Those silly infidels, they should just bend over and take America's imperialistic penorz right in the ass..

Honestly (I'm gonna get flamed to hell for this), I agree with you. America began because of a revolution. I'm saying that by disagreeing with the war, it doesn't mean that you don't support the troops. The best way to support the troops is to get them out of harm's way.

And, for the record, I did go around Chicago replacing people's yellow "Support the Troops" ribbons with ones of the same size, color, and font that said "Support Iraqi Insurgency". Fight the power.

As i first stated this was not something about the current war but about the ALLIES IN THAT WAR!!!! hence the 'this is not about the war' quote

If I caught you touching my car, my property, I would have punched you in the throat unmercifully and pissed on you while you gasped for air. My yellow sticker was given to me by a friend who ultimately sacrificed his life over there. Maybe you should consider that peoples personal property may have sentimental value, before you go and replace it.
